Butterfield Animal Hospital

My dog had what looked like a snake bite on his leg. I called Butterfied Animal Hospital and was told to bring him right in and they would see him. When we got there my dog was seen within 15 minutes. The doctor took her time and explained everything to me. She offered me three options and was very conscious of cost. She did NOT push the expensive route and didn't make me feel like I was a bad person regardless of my choice. After making my choice my dog went under a surgery within the hour. During the surgery things were worse than what we had originally had thought and planned for. The doctor did everything she could to resolve the issue and kept my dogs best interest at heart. And the best part is he is doing much better! Additionally she didn't charge me a dime more than originally quoted even though the surgery needed more work than previously planned. I'm thankful for Butterfield Animal hospital for keeping my dog safe! He's doing much better!!!

I absolutely love the time and attention they give to their patients. All the staff was extremely friendly, happy, attentive, and answered every last question I had. Very professional. This was my 1st visit as I wanted to meet the staff before I scheduled a spay for a rescue/now forever cattle dog. I'm super happy I found this place, and I'll be bringing the rest of my furr babies here as well!!!!! Thank you! And THANK YOU for meeting Poe. Back again, for another pet. The service was unbelievable, friendly, professional, and more than I could ask for. I never feel rushed or pressured. Thank you ALL for doing what you do. You really show how much animals mean to you all!!

Just had our first appointment for my Cinnamon Sunset! He was so excited when he got in there. Immediately he wanted to make friends with all of the other pets and humans in there. The doctor and her assistant were super friendly and informative. They were so nice to my puppy. Lavished him with love and attention and chewy treats after. Thank you so much!!

Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Our experience was a nightmare. Lab results were consistently delayed, the vet lacked expertise, and they suggested rare and extreme conditions without basis. Paid $300 for a test with no results ever shared back to us. Difficulties getting them to cooperate for us to order the prescribed diet from Chewy; seems they prioritize in-house sales. The final straw came when our suffering, sick cat was denied care by Dr. Rivenburgh to be seen for his appointment scheduled a week in advance because of a 15-min delay approved by the clinics front desk. This blatant disregard for our pet's well-being, coupled with a lack of helpful resolutions and condescending communication from Erin and Katy, has left us profoundly disappointed. Despite their front desk approval, Katy and Erin refused to find a way to see him due to a 15-min delay from our sick cat vomiting just before I was leaving my house for the appointment. Again, in which I had communicated to them in advance and the front desk approved The frustration and inhumanity displayed by Dr. Rivenburgh, Erin and Katy were beyond measure. Our attempts to reason and show proof of approval were met with indifference. These individuals should prioritize the well-being of sick pets and honor the commitments made to clients by their staff. Save your money and more importantly faith, go elsewhere. There are undoubtedly better options in Temecula. The ruthless exercise of control over our pet's health by these individuals should never be tolerated. I am still comprehending how individuals can behave like that to a vulnerable cat and owner.
